Accurately imaging the capabilities of your horse by training and competition analysis. The tool that Moxie Sport has developed for this purpose is based on the latest scientific findings in the field of sport physiology. Various physiological parameters are calculated per measurement which visualizes how the performance or training came about and how that compares to previous exercises.
Platform of analysis
During the process itself you run various measurements. For example riding with a heart rate monitor during your training sessions or competitions. After each workout, you place the data in a digital work environment. Moxie Sport analyses the data and gives feedback twice a week on the performance of your horse. Also possible deviations in the parameters will be discussed. These are possibly signs of an upcoming injury, illness or discomfort.
Data science
Research has shown that performance monitoring is a very effective way of detecting early injuries (Egenvall et. al, 2013; Munsters et al., 2013; Soligrad et al., 2016). The parameters which are measured are focused on the workload and load-bearing capacity of your horse, distinguishing in internal and external workload. Think of progression during the season, peak loads, recovery parameters, distances travelled, speed and gears and parameters related to the internal workload of your horse. That is how your horse is experiencing the workload and how much effort it takes to perform the work.
