Masterclass on Exercise Physiology of the Horse with Carolien Munsters

On Friday evening, May 24th, a Masterclass on the sport physiology of horses will take place in Heerhugowaard.

The event will cover the basics of training theory for horses, including topics like the use of blankets and bandages, cooling down, and planning different types of training sessions. Attendees will learn about training endurance versus strength, preventing overtraining, and using heart rate monitors to optimize training. The Masterclass will feature 2 or 3 horse-rider combinations wearing heart rate monitors, demonstrating the intensity of training and appropriate training schedules for different types of horses.

The event starts at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Participation costs €67.50, including one beverage. The event will be held in Dutch.
